Cynthia L. Simeone, CBCP, PMP, is the Founder of Aptus Business Consulting Services Inc.
Ms. Simeone is a management consultant who brings over twenty years of corporate strategic and operational risk management experience specializing in pandemic planning, business continuity, crisis response management, regulatory compliance, and portfolio, program and project management services. Her prior management consulting experience includes Fortune 100 client work through Satori Consulting, Deloitte & Touche LLP, Nextera Interactive, and the J.P. Morgan Pinnacle Alliance.
Ms. Simeone is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), and is a member of the Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) as well as the Association of Contingency Planners. She also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and is a former President of the Project Management Institute (PMI) New York City Chapter where she advocated and implemented career mentorship and community, corporate and educational outreach programs focused on project management. She has presented at both Project Management Institute Global Leadership and national Continuity Insights Conferences and was included as an expert commentator for the Financial Management Network business continuity planning segment. She is an educator for TopBoards™, an ISS-accredited customized board education and training program.
Ms. Simeone graduated cum laude from the University of Denver, Lamont School of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in Music and continues to explore team dynamics and the impact of high performance in the corporate environment.
Ms. Simeone is no longer actively involved with Aptus as she has accepted a long-term position responsible for Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery for a privately held, Fortune 200 company.
